The EU-IndiaGrid Community brings together a wide range of actors in the field of research, grids and e-Infrastructures in India and the EU. Community members are provided with a number of opportunities such as:

Viewing the other members' profile and interests to find new prospective partners

Accessing the project Forum to discuss on topics of interest

Europe and India are collaborating to exploit the vast potential of global eScience infrastructures through Grid computing in order to address global challenges such as climate warming and disease.

A series of European initiatives are involved in deploying and operating the European-wide e-Infrastructure. These initiatives cooperate with national programs at European and extra-European level. Eu-IndiaGrid supports and fosters collaboration between researchers from Europe and India in a wide range of scientific areas.

Applications

EU-IndiaGrid supports specific user communities in the exploitation of grid infrastructures in areas strategic for EU-Indian collaboration. Applications in four main communities will be developed:Climate Change, High Energy Physics, Biology, Material Science
