EU-IndiaGrid2 is driving the sustainability of EU-Indian Grid infrastructure by connecting with user communities in both Europe and India. EU-IndiaGrid2 is organising 4 thematic workshops during the lifetime of the project on Climate Change, Biology, High Energy Physics and Material Science; as well as an international conference in 2011 at ICTP, Trieste, Italy. Partners are also actively participating at international conferences presenting updates and achievements on the project.

EU-IndiaGrid will hold its inaugural launch at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi on 11 January. This invite-only event will be attended by key players in EU-Indian collaboration such as Dr R. Chidambaram (principal scientific advisor to the Government of India), and members of the European delegation on e-Infrastructures to India, including Kostas Glinos, Head of Unit, European Commission; Leif Laaksonen, Chairman of the eInfrastructure Reflection Group and Robert Jones, Coordinator of EGEE.
