EU-IndiaGrid2 is driving the sustainability of EU-Indian Grid infrastructure by connecting with user communities in both Europe and India. EU-IndiaGrid2 is organising 4 thematic workshops during the lifetime of the project on Climate Change, Biology, High Energy Physics and Material Science; as well as an international conference in 2011 at ICTP, Trieste, Italy. Partners are also actively participating at international conferences presenting updates and achievements on the project.

The first major ACM community event in India
The ACM India launch and first major event for the ACM community in India is set for January 21, 2010 in Bangalore, the day before COMPUTE 2010, the annual event of the ACM Bangalore Chapter. The ACM India Launch Event will be a day-long event featuring speakers that include current and past ACM Turing Award winners, ACM officers, and Indian ACM chapter leaders.
