Indian President, Pratibha Devisingh Patil in New Delhi, inaugurated the initial phase of the National Knowledge Network. The Network aims at improving access to knowledge by inter connecting all knowledge and research institutions in the country. For India to become a significant research and development hub, it has to become part of this wave of collaboration and co-creation. The NKN is a step at attaining this objective.
